Sunrise Blvd. (Hiatus Road to Pine Island Road)

EAC provided design and construction management services for the widening and resurfacing of this 1.5 mile segment of the existing four-lane divided arterial in Broward County. The widening resulted in a six lane divided urban typical section with bike lanes and new sidewalks.

Completion was ahead of the target date by three months and below the bid price, despite adding $1.3M of extra work to the contract. This was a highly successful project for Broward County, the contractor and EAC.

Ever since I had my summer internship at EAC, I knew that this was the place where I wanted to pursue a career. I was lucky enough to be invited back to a setting where so many hard working and motivated individuals work together as a cohesive unit. It is refreshing to be in an environment where everyone is so willing and eager to assist you without any hesitation. I hope to take part in this camaraderie and dedication to the task at hand for a long time to come.
