SR 836 Dolphin Expressway Extension and Construction of NW 137th Avenue & SR 836 Extension Improvements and Bi-directional Toll Plaza (East of 107th Avenue)

The SR 836 Open Road Tolling (ORT) Improvements project at NW 97th Avenue and the SR 836 Extension Project to NW 137th Avenue in West Miami-Dade County were opened to the public in July, 2007.

EAC, as General Engineering Consultants to Miami-Dade Expressway Authority, provided Construction Management functions on both these major Design-Build highway projects which included conventional bridges, steel bridges, toll plazas, tolling gantry structures and noise walls.

My tenure at EAC began a little over two years ago. At the time, I was a student at FIU pursuing a second bachelor's degree in civil engineering. It was refreshing to work at a company that was understanding and supportive of my schedule, as well as my educational goals.
