EAC provided design and construction management services for the widening and resurfacing of this 1.5 mile segment of the existing four-lane divided arterial in Broward County. The widening resulted in a six lane divided urban typical section with bike lanes and new sidewalks. The project included roadway alignment modifications, drainage, signing and pavement markings, signalization, landscaping with irrigation, and permitting. Completion was ahead of the target date by three months and $5,000 below the bid price, despite adding $1.3M of extra work to the contract. This was a highly successful project for Broward County, the contractor and EAC.
