Automated People Mover Guideway Terminals A & B

EAC Consulting performed the structural analysis and design for the Automated People Mover (APM) Guideway on the roof of MIA between Terminal A & B. The structure was carefully designed to integrate with the architectural aspects of the project; namely, the stations. Close coordination with the APM Electrical Systems and Vehicle manufacturers was critical during design and construction of this facility because of the precision required in order for the APM to operate correctly. EAC Consulting also provided construction oversight for this project which is now substantially complete.
