Florida's Turnpike Enterprise

The Miramar Toll Plaza project is located along SR 821 within the Homestead Extension of the Florida’s Turnpike near milepost 47, west of the Turnpike mainline (SR 91) and east of University Drive (SR 817) in Broward County. The Begin and End project limits are MP 46.45 and MP 46.94, respectively. The project scope includes widening the SR 821 mainline and the reconstruction of the westbound exit ramp to University Drive, west of the Toll Plaza. Additionally, the toll plaza will undergo conversion of manual lanes to Sunpass lanes and modifications to the existing lane and island widths. Furthermore, the toll plaza administration building will also be modified and its parking lot improved.
