The improvements under this contract consist of milling and resurfacing, minor widening for auxiliary lanes, guardrail installation and resetting, highway signing and other incidental construction on the Homestead Extension of Florida’s (HEFT) (SR 821) in Miami-Dade County from Milepost (MP) 0.0 to 9.2.  The project exception limits are from MP 2.5 to MP 3.75 and MP 5.1 to MP 9.2 for the mainline HEFT only.  Improvements on all interchange ramps are included from Milepost 5.1 to 9.2. The improvements include also signing and pavement marking, lighting, bridge repairs to 7 bridges, and minor ITS and signalization. Total construction cost was $9,095,686.47.
